Who's Sorry Now? 01-31-06

So many apologies...so little time. Who is apologizing, who should be apologizing, who doesn't have a clue?
      • Yikes! This guy doesn't have a clue! and was booked on charges of third-degree assault for going after a 16 year-old on the Colorado ski slopes. Whoa, buddy...bring it down a notch!
  1. Any apologies - from either side of the aisle - after the SOTU? Duh!
  2. NM High school athletes exchange TV apologies over racial slur
  3. Ooops....so sorry 'bout that! museum visitor trips over shoelace and shatters valuable Chinese vase ?!? (here)
  4. Will / should the Washington Post apologize to readers (bloggers?) for remarks from columnist Deborah Howell concerning just who was the beneficiary of Jack Abramoff's lobbying largess?
  5. Apologizing as a leadership trait?...you decide.
  6. A Million Little Lawsuits. Looks like we've entered a never-ending publishing/fiction vs. non-fiction/truth vs. lies scandal. Now two readers, Jimmy Floyd and Susan Gardiner, are accusing publishers Random House and Nan Talese of gross negligence for failing to fact-check Frey's supposed "brutally honest" account of addiction. Oh, what tangled webs we weave...etc.
