Corruption, fraud, mismanagement, bribrery, graft, embezzlement - Organized crime, right? Third world countries, right? Wrong (well, maybe). This describes the current state of the GOP.
And today, in the wake of Katrina, (besides Bush's $2.8 Trillion Budget proposal) Michael Chertoff announces a FEMA carve-out. "Homeland Security Secretary Michael Chertoff is announcing wide-ranging changes to the nationÂ’s embattled disaster-response agency on the heels of a House report blaming government-wide ineptitude for mishandling Hurricane Katrina relief."
