Sweet. Bush's crash and burn poll numbers show the true colors of the talk show cheerleaders. Turns out that the gang that couldn't shoot straight is not the darling it once was among the talk show guys. Ok, that's fair. And radio / cable is a business. But the audiences should be VERY clear that these guys are happy to get you all tangled up in your underwear when it's paying the bills...but as the ratings sink, the conversations need to change and lo and behold: "It does show that the nation's top-ranked conservative radio and TV hosts are showmen first and presidential apologists second, or to hear them tell it, not apologists at all." (Variety here). They're no dummies, they know how to keep their ratings up. Ratings first; loyalty second.
