Aquaman a Real Movie?


Entourage fans know all about Aquaman, the fictional movie that Vince, the star of Entrouage makes with James Cameron directing. The crazy thing is that people have been thinking that Cameron is really shooting Aquaman...and, knowing Hollywood, knowing the success of the Pirates franchise....it just might happen.
Here's 'buzz' on that - ok, it's really related to Joe Kernan of CNBC acting like Ron Burgandy, but our insider tells us that the fact that Aquaman keeps getting mentioned means that it just might become a real movie.
Someone Didn't Get The Joke, Part 3
In the wake of the
Aquaman accident, CNBC's Squawk Box conducted The Big Blog Debate this morning. At 6:50am, I appeared on the show and told Joe Kernen that the the NY Daily News, NY Post and Variety need Tivo's. An hour later, Kernen complained about the mainstream media's apparent refusal to correct the record. "It was on the radio. It was in Variety. It was everywhere. And now no one will change it. We called the New York Post six times. It's out there. I'm Ron Burgundy."Kernen said "the actual truth wasn't as interesting as the fiction, and the fiction is still out there." Ron Insana's argument about the viral nature of blogs didn't make a lot of sense. Nicholas Thompson, an editor at Wired Magazine, was the voice of reason in the segment. He pointed out that "Page Six could have written this story without a blog as well." And he said that Web users are getting better at discerning the good blogs from the bad...
