Katherine Harris takes EARLY Lead

Here's a big ol' surprise - Cruella takes the lead. Whatever. Guess she knows how to get those votes, no matter what!
U.S. Rep. Katherine Harris led early primary election tabulations Tuesday in her bid to claim the GOP nomination for the Senate, and Rep. Jim Davis led in the race for the Democratic nomination to succeed popular Gov. Jeb Bush.

With 5 percent of the precincts reporting, Harris had 45 percent of the vote against three relative unknowns. Will McBride ran second at 36 percent, and LeRoy Collins had 14 percent.

In the Democratic gubernatorial race, Davis led state Sen. Rod Smith 51 percent to 36 percent.

State Attorney General Charlie Crist led the race for the Republican nomination to replace Bush, who must step down because of term limits. Crist had 65 percent of the vote to 33 percent for Tom Gallagher, the state's chief financial officer. more
