Admiral William J. Fallon, who's going to replace Gen. John Abizaid in Iraq? Or Gen. Abizaid for disagreeing on the troop surge? One thing for sure...you don't want to be a critic of Bush's effort to escalate the war, or you'll get fired, er, replaced.
Remember, the surge is an escalation, the escalation is to get the oil, the Iraq exit strategy is to invade Iran.
These guys must have battle fatigue, for sure, and, well, if you're the Prez and you're getting ready to escalate the war, you literally need fresh blood.
