Sleep With The Fishes

There is an enormous amount of important news we have not gotten to in the past couple of days. We will cover this in detail soon:
  • Arab takeover of U.S. ports seen as security 'insanity' (more here)
  • Ann Coulter voting in the wrong precinct (more here)
  • Are Tom and Katie spiltsville (just kidding - who cares? well, ok, more here)
  • Bode Miller disqualified (we had such high hopes for him - at least he admits it when he's drunk) more here
  • And of course, we can't wait to do our Gangsta Wannabe Abramoff Story - and looky here, what's in today's news? A real doozy on - what? - access to the WH via Karl, the sledgehammer, Rove? (more here)
Speaking of gangstas - let's revisit something that we posted ( here) earlier from Barry Saunders called Dummy Up Scooter.
  • Don't think this is far-fetched as it might seem...there's sooooo much at stake for the current administration that tactics like this may not be that far from reality.

  • And wait till we get to Abramoff - we think the SunCruz Casino murders (here) play into his story far more than money and access and we'll explain more next week.

So we'll leave you with this for now:

"Libby, Cheney's former chief of staff, recently told a grand jury that leaking Plame's identity as a spy was authorized by his superiors who were angered by Plame's husband's public criticism of the war in Iraq. That revelation had many questioning how low this administration would go to quash dissent. Now we know. A vice president who'll shoot an ally to get across his message of omerta -- that's mobspeak for "hush up" -- may be considered a national disgrace by some."

Nite, nite.
