Still no apologies for our nagging oil addiction. Well, at least the prez admitted we are addicted. Does he get credit for that? Oil prices near $64 a barrel ( Yahoo here) "Oil prices rose slightly Friday as tensions in Nigeria, Iran. Saudi Arabia supported supply fears." But Americans are not going down without a fight:
"There are ways to break America's oil addiction, experts say, but it will not be easy. Cures include stricter conservation, higher fuel-economy standards, alternative fuels made from common crops, and next-generation batteries for hybrid cars that could get more than 100 miles per gallon."
