First off, thank you, Think Progress, for the video and the transcripts. Thanks for being on this one! Turns out the US Attorney General....the highest lawyer in the Country...has grandparents who, oh no!, may have been illegal immigrants. DUH.
"Yesterday on CNN, Attorney General Alberto Gonzales admitted that he doesn’t know if his grandparents came from Mexico to the United States legally or illegally, but that his family’s story is the “American dream.”"
Could the GOP just finally BUTTON IT. Every Hispanic in business, politics, academia is going to have a similar story. This is the way it is. Maybe it's a good thing to watch the GOP squirm about this one.
