The Bush Agenda
We yust heard author Antonia Juhasz in an interview and were so impressed by her clarity and grasp of the REAL situation related to Iraq, Iran, etc. Our readers absolutely MUST get these facts - either by buying her book or reading more online - whatever.
Most economists know that WAR is about MONEY. Always has been, always will be. Getting the people in a frenzy is certainly part of it, but the backstory is always the money. In the case of Iraq (and soon to be Iran), the agenda has been clearly laid out for long before 9-11 - in the Project for the New American Century (PNAC) from the Neo-conartists, to the fact that the Prez, the VP, and the Secty of State are all from the oil business, to the immense military bases being built in the Iraq, blah blah blah.
Antonia says, "The Bush Agenda: Invading the World, One Economy at a Time explores the Bush Administration's plan to invade the world through a corporate globalization agenda, first in Iraq, then the Middle East with the proposed U.S.-Middle East Free Trade Area, and ultimately as a cornerstone to the global Bush Doctrine of Pax Americana.
What is Bush's "free trade?" It's an economic model that argues that by removing restrictions on multinational corporations, these companies will be freed to become engines of economic growth in countries around the world, but in fact bring vast wealth of a small number of global elites while entire populations suffer dislocation, poverty and violence, creating a perfect Petri dish for breeding terrorists. The instruments for this takeover include such corporations as Bechtel, Lockheed Martin, ChevronTexaco, Halliburton, and many others. "
