Largest US Embassy in the World - In Baghdad

Who's Sorry Now?

We'll say this once again and hopefully you'll listen...the Big I war is about OIL, period. And, so, the reasoning behind the construction of the LARGEST EVER US Embassy in Baghdad. Even the Iraqi's just woke up to the fact that, yes, dear, we're in Iraq to dominate the oil market. Sorry, to all the idealists out there...it's just simply a fact. AND the embassy is being built by (drumroll please) a Kuwaiti subsidary of, surprise!, Haliburton.

We're not agreeing with the strategy. We're just practical about politics and money. Here's wahat we know - the current "alternative fuel" strategy, and strategy to fend off the idiots in Venezuela and the "other" Big I, Iran. Here's more:

"Don't ask about the US Embassy in Baghdad. It's a secret -- for security reasons. But it's hard hiding a 104-acre complex rising on the banks of the Tigris River . Anyone who cares to know can see four giant construction cranes towering over the river at the largest such project ever undertaken by the United States -- a symbol of a US presence that will last well into the future. ...US officials here greet questions about the site with a curtness that borders on hostility. Reporters have been referred to the State Department in Washington, which has declined to answer questions for security reasons. A tour seems to be out of the question; no formal response was given to a request for one."
