The article quotes some oil dope as saying that gas prices will go down in time for Thanksgiving. They really mean in time for the November Elections! Duh.
Hey, we'll be glad that gas prices come down, but let's call a spade a spade:
"...Gilman said retail gasoline prices of around $2 a gallon by Thanksgiving were certainly possible, although not likely."
Well, even if they don't come down to $2 the PROMISE of coming down may be enough to sway voters to keep the bums in (instead of throw the bums out).
