How about the squashed news story the Capitol Security police not only didn't stop the guy, but apparently LIED about who DID stop the guy.
Turns out it was civilians who stopped the ARMED intruder. "It was the civilians who did have him corralled or subdued," said Sgt. Kimberly Schneider, a spokeswoman. "We were hot on his trail. We just didn't get there in time." Say what?!! more
