Rep. Reynolds' Apology Ad Over Page Porn Scandal

Who's scrambling now?

Rep. Tom Reynolds (R-NY) is scrambling to hold on to his congressional seat by running "apology ads" over the Foley-page porn scandal. Jeez. What a loser. Ya think this might be a public statement to run for cover as the investigations begin?

His ads are about being "sorry I didn't do more". DO MORE?!? Dude, this country is OBSESSED with child sex predators! The slightest hint of one should have sent you and your cronies running to STOP this now. Our lawmakers should be the first to seize the opportunity to catch a predator - even if its one of their own. Remind anyone of the Catholic priest scandals?

We hope the GOP constitutents are not as dumb as Fox News Channel thinks they are (Rupert Murdoch thanked the "trailer park trash and idiots" who watch the channel at the recent 10 year anniversary bash).

"Nobody's angrier and more disappointed that I didn't catch his lies," the New York representative says, referring to Foley, in the television commercial that appeared Friday on stations in Buffalo and Rochester. "I trusted that others had investigated. Looking back, more should have been done, and for that, I am sorry."

Reynolds, head of the House Republican election effort, has come under attack from Democrats who say he did too little to protect a page from Foley." here
