The (war on Iran) drumbeat goes on

Could it be that everything is going according to the Bush plan? Put the middle east in turmoil like never before, stir it up, friend against foe, blah blah blah?

Why, yes, America, we think that's exactly what's going on here. Bush and Cheney are now in public saying things like "Congress doesn't matter" and "troops are authorized to kill Iranians". Why? Remember, it's the oil stupid. Oh, and if the right wing Likud agenda is furthered, then, terrific.

Bush said it today. "I'm the Decider" (read Dictator?)
President Bush, on a collision course with Congress over Iraq, said Friday "I'm the decision-maker" about sending more troops to the war. He challenged skeptical lawmakers not to prematurely condemn his plan.

So, stir it up and meanwhile get the mega military bases finished, start pumping Iraq oil, and soon Iranian oil under private revenue sharing agreements. Who cares what the Arab street says? Not Bush. Not Cheney. Not Netanyahu. Not Bill Kristol. Nope. Get the oil (revenues), period. Need to redraw a map or two? No problem. Iraq is a phony country, anyway, invented by the British way back in the heyday of the British Empire. Ask Bush, he'll tell you it's America's turn....
