Before we start...how is his WIFE taking all of this? Did you see her in the interview the other day with him admitting to buying (but throwing away) meth? OMG - she must be FURIOUS. Her husband, the "moral" leader of 14,000 is having an affair...with a GAY ESCORT.... and using (illegal, btw) Methedrine.

He's resigned. The Rev. Ted Haggard agreed to resign as leader of the New Life Church after its independent investigative board recommended removal, saying he was guilty "of sexually immoral conduct."

"We, the Overseer Board of New Life Church, have concluded our deliberations concerning the moral failings of Pastor Ted Haggard," a statement from the church said. "Our investigation and Pastor Haggard's public statements have proven without a doubt that he has committed sexually immoral conduct."

A man describing himself as an escort told news media this week that Haggard, who also has resigned as president of the influential National Asssociation of Evangelicals, had been paying him for sex for three years.

Haggard immediately denied the allegations, but later acknowledged having paid the man for a massage and to provide methamphetamine.

Pastor Ted Haggard, the Pastor to the President, the Pastor who has apparently railed for years about the sins of homosexuality, blah blah blah, now says, well, I did do some of it. So when will he publicly apologize to his flock? After he gets out of rehab?

Oh, and as you know we always say "what doesn't come out in the wash will come out in the rinse".

And did you know that he leads 30 MILLION evangelicals? Quite a voter block, no? Hey, who needs a PAC when you've got Pastor Ted?

KKTV: A sudden about-face in the scandal facing New Life Church's pastor.

After Pastor Ted Haggard went public Wednesday night denying allegations of a homosexual affair, senior church officials told KKTV 11News Thursday evening, Pastor Ted Haggard has admitted to some of the claims made by a former male escort. The church's Acting Senior Pastor, Ross Parsley, tells KKTV 11 News that Pastor Haggard has admitted to some of the indiscretions claimed by Mike Jones, but not all of them.

An email has also reportedly been sent to Church staff saying Haggard admitted to some of the accusations.
