Al Sharpton may not be sorry now, but he sure is shocked.

"I can't find out anything more shocking than I've already learned," Sharpton told the Daily News, which reported the link Sunday based on genealogists' findings.

What's going on? Al Sharpton, a highly visible black preacher/politician who rails against racism at any turn is probablly related to Strom Thurmond, one of THE MOST RACIST white southern politicans EVER.

CNN....They found that Sharpton's great-grandfather, Coleman Sharpton, was a slave owned by Julia Thurmond, whose grandfather was Strom Thurmond's great-great-grandfather. Coleman Sharpton was later freed.
