Today's Army and the War in Iraq

Don't get us wrong. We LOVE the men and women in the military and honor each and every one of them for serving...especially because most of our Congress people do NOT have children in the service...well, except now Senator elect Jim Webb's son is there.

However, Iraq, which was always about oil, is a damn shame in terms of the lives and bodies it's ruined. This pic says it all.....

Congresswoman apologizes for comments to wheelchair-using candidate

Who's apologizing now?

This slimebag Wyoming candidate, Rep. Barbara Cubin, who apparently feels its ok to bully disabled people - 'If you weren't sitting in that chair, I'd slap you across the face."

USA: Today she issued an apology: Seeking to put an end to an incident that pundits say could tighten an already close U.S. House race, Rep. Barbara Cubin issued a public apology Tuesday for a comment she made to a disabled Libertarian candidate following a testy debate. "It was person to person and it was not an attack on the disabled," Cubin said in a telephone interview from Rock Springs, Wyo. "In retrospect I was wrong in what I said and I apologize."

And we wonder why our kids are such bullies at school....and why the victims are sometimes pushed to their limits to combat the bullying....
