Danish apology fails to quell Muslim anger. (more here). Isn't this story over? Apparently not. Can you believe that 41 people have died in riots over these cartoons? The Danish author' s apology, dated Feb 5, appreared in a Saudi newspaper today. "A full-page apology in Arabic by Jyllands-Posten, the Danish paper that first commissioned works such as a caricature of the prophet with a bomb-shaped turban, was published in newspapers in Saudi Arabia."
Weird, because at first there was a refusal to apologize by the Danish and alot of back and forth about free speech, etc. Is there something more sinister behind this whole situation? We checked with our conspiracy theory sources and will fill you in on the "real" story when we get it.
