Everyone in this pot of soup has got to be sorry. First off, shame on anyone who plagiarizes anything. And, boy, it's soooo tempting with the Internet cut and paste. So, know your ethics and the law and stay true to that, no matter what.
Second, how about a "thumb your nose" at all smarmy rightwing bloggers who made snotty comments.
Third, when is everyone going to realize that everything you do and everything you are online can be checked and re-checked, so be careful of what's out there in your name. That includes email and IM. We posted recently on Online Oversharing for that reason. (here)
