Say what? Libya's Gaddafi lectures U.S. on democracy?

It's Alice in Wonderland time again. Is it us or does this seem S-T-R-A-N-G-E. Gaddafi lecturing on democracy AND saying that the only true democracy on the planet is (drumroll) Libya. Get a clue!

Well, this might be what we get when we throw around the term democracy. It's turning out that democracy is kind of like beauty...it is in the eye of the beholder. So, let's see what else he had to say (Yahoo here):

Gaddafi said Libya's new openness would not lead Libyans to covet what they do not have -- on the contrary, he said, the rest of the world would soon be emulating Libya. Countries like the United States, India, China, the Russian Federation, are in bad need of this Jamahiriyah system," he said. "This is a savior to them." Challenged by the U.S. moderator about freedom of speech, Gaddafi said every Libyan was free to express his opinions at the congresses and that was a better forum than a newspaper.

Whatever, dude. You're seriously a terrorist (or WERE). What country do we live in again? Hello - security?
