Cali Gov Says NO To A Wall
Who's Sorry Now?
The GOP keeps pointing fingers at the Dems because the Dems can't define "what they stand for". We agree, the Dems are doing the WORST JOB EVER articulating their position on anything.
BUT, the GOP can't define what it stands for as it relates to immigration, either. Will the real GOP please stand up? We posted on this when the first idiot Trancredo idea started making headlines....why wake up an issue that is a sleeping tiger, we asked. We referred to it as the (rattle) snakes on the plane idea. Don't wake up a rattlesnake...they're mad as hell and they can kill you.
Gov. Schwarzenegger says NO to the Wall. We think he's right (only about this...everything else has been pretty weak). Plus, could you see Vincente Fox saying for all the world to see, "President Bush....tear down this wall!" Ah, no. Not good marketing on any level.
"We are landing men on the moon and in outer space using all these great things. I think that other technology really can secure the borders," the Republican governor said in an interview on ABC's "This Week."...But he also suggested practical and symbolic reasons to oppose the proposal. He alluded to the Berlin Wall, suggesting that such a structure on the U.S. border would send the wrong message to Mexico, "our friends ... our trading partners."
