Fox IN YOUR FACE Upfronts

Who SHOULD BE sorry Now? Fox, and the out of control Brad Garrett at the Fox upfronts.

BTW, the upfronts were apparently really sucky and evidence that Entertainment MSM, usually derrogatorily referred to from the NEWS side, is just a clueless. They don't know what shows to make, what ads to run where...they just know they want their share of the $9 BILLION in ad revenue the advertisers are prepared to throw at all of us, in spite of TIVO, etc. What-ev-uh.

Defamer here:
Fox entered the upfronts somewhat confidently this year, and, as expected, gathered advertisers responded favorably to their chosen theme, "Idol Swallowed The Olympics: What The Hell Else Do You Need To Know? Now Give Us All Your Money." Still, that doesn't mean there wasn't room for misfires, such as when new Fox sitcom star Brad Garrett decided to try out some improvised, Idol-themed insult comedy:
Noting the presence of Paula Abdul, who has seemed slightly unhinged this season on "American Idol," Garrett said: "Bellevue (Hospital Center) has a shuttle bus."

"Nice dress," he said of Abdul, a judge on the talent competition show, who wore a shiny outfit. "Maybe it's time to get back in the lamp."

To increasing groans from the audience, the 46-year-old actor then made a profane reference to "Idol" host Ryan Seacrest's sex life.

"Ooh, it's going to be a long night," said Fox Entertainment President Peter Liguori as Garrett walked off the stage.
