Negroponte leaving Intelligence post

Get a clue. Does the phrase "circle the wagons" mean anything to you?

First off, John Negroponte is a doofus. He has been criticized because of his involvement in the covert funding of the Contras, and there are allegations that he was in involved in a coverup of human rights abuses carried out by CIA-trained operatives in Honduras, where he was the U.S. chief of mission in the 1980s. It was in Honduras that Negroponte first worked with the former executive director of the CIA, Kyle "Dusty" Foggo. AP

You remember Dusty Foggo - another idiot who is a viagra candidate and who had to use his CIA status to bring hookers to parties in DC with the last dopey head of CIA, Porter Goss.

We posted this on Negroponte's appt to Intel Chief last May: Just a quick point on "esteemed" Intelligence Czar John Negroponte, the old Iran-Contra guy himself. Check out some of his history and know that he's the guy behind the ill-fated TIA. Oh, and Hayden was his 2nd in command, prior to appointment to head the CIA. Oh, and they were connected with John Poindexter who wanted to run a Terrorist Futures trading desk (no kidding) out of the Pentagon. Oh, and they will make sure that Intelligence will end up under the DoD.
