Deborah Palfrey, the DC Madame, who threatened to name names, and it's happening. She's apologizing, but says it's necessary. You bet. And what fun. The real 'apologists' should be all the hypocrits who used the service and were married with children, in jobs that required them to interact with the public, etc. Notice that so far it's mostly the Viagra crowd of aging white guys who're being outed. Hey, we have nothing against fun sex. It's the double standard that irks us and most people.

A woman apologized Monday for outing a former top State Department official as a client of her escort service but said it was necessary to prove her company was doing legal business.

Tobias, who resigned Friday as head of the Bush administration's foreign aid programs, confirmed to ABC News that he used Palfrey's escort firm, Pamela Martin & Associates, but said he only received legal services such as massages.

Palfrey has contended that her escort service provided clients with college-educated women who engaged in legal, sexual game-playing for $275 per 90-minute session in their homes or hotel rooms. Prosecutors allege she ran a prostitution ring.

Palfrey's attorney, Montgomery Blair Sibley, said yesterday that he has been contacted in the past few days by five lawyers asking whether their client's phone numbers are on Palfrey's list of 10,000 to 15,000 customers from 2002 to 2006. Some have also asked about whether an accommodation can be made to avoid identifying their clients, which Sibley said he is not able to promise. ABC's "20/20" is mining that database of phone numbers, Sibley said, for a news report on the more notable of Palfrey's customers.

"I presume '20/20' crews running around with cameras has led to this flurry of activity," Sibley said. "That may cause some people to worry."

Let's hope Randall Tobias, former Bush official, who left abruptly and in disgrace, gets what he deserves. And let's hope his wife gets an AIDS test.

Randall Tobias, a married man and head of the Bush administration's foreign aid programs, is oh, so sorry. You betcha. He's been outed by the DC Madame and abruptly resigned today. Oh, and he used to be Chairman of Eli Lilly - the big pharma company. Randy's got alot of 'xplainin to do....

Tobias submitted his resignation a day after he was interviewed by ABC News for an upcoming program about an alleged prostitution service run by the so-called D.C. Madam.

ABC reported on its Web site late Friday that Tobias confirmed that he had called the Pamela Martin and Associates escort service to have women come to his condo and give him massages. More recently, Tobias told the network, he has been using a service with Central American women.

Tobias, 65, who is married, told ABC News there had been "no sex" during the women's visits to his condo. His name was on a list of clients given to ABC by Deborah Jeane Palfrey, who owns the escort service and has been charged with running a prostitution ring in the nation's capital.
